Westbeth is a community hub for New York City as well as for artists of all disciplines to gather and exhibit work. Westbeth Artists Housing was started in 1970 as a complex that provided affordable artist housing. In 1980, the Westbeth Artists Residents Council was established to develop, produce, and host cultural events for the public. Although Westbeth’s website captures its complexity and richness, some reorganization could improve overall usability. As a group of 4, we collaborated to evaluate and identify the usability issues of the current Westbeth website and provide recommendations that we deemed will be valuable for the website’s improvement.
