Our Programs

We offer two graduate-level UX programs: the 36-credit Master of Science in Information Experience Design and the 12-credit Advanced Certificate in User Experience. Both programs are offered primarily face-to-face at Pratt Manhattan Center in New York City, located on the border of the vibrant neighborhoods of Greenwich Village and Chelsea.

MS, Information Experience Design

The 36-credit Information Experience Design (IXD) master’s program teaches students to become well-rounded UX professionals. Open to students with bachelor’s degrees in any area, the IXD program covers foundational knowledge and skills and offers optional concentrations in Design and Research.

Advanced Certificate, User Experience

The 12-credit advanced certificate is a first-of-its-kind post-masters certificate program covering the core knowledge and skills of user-centered design and evaluation. Open to anyone who already holds a masters degree and to students currently pursuing a masters degree in the School of Information.
