Project Proposal Form

Thank you for your interest in working with students from the Center for Digital Experiences at Pratt Institute. Please complete this form to be considered for a course-based project.

This form will ask you to:

  • Select what type(s) of project(s) you would like students to work on
  • Explain what students will focus on in their project(s)
  • Indicate an expected or desired timeline (if available)
  • Provide a brief summary of what your organization hopes to get from participating

Note that all projects are offered at no cost to you but will require a moderate degree of engagement so that projects meet your and your organization’s goals.

Typically, participation means one or two meetings with the students during the project plus attendance (virtual or in-person) at students’ final presentations.

We accept project proposals at any time, but for best consideration they should be submitted by January 15 for the spring semester and by August 15 for the fall semester.

1. About You and Your Organization

Tell us a little bit about your organization. What do you do? Who are your primary users/customers? What is your vision or mission?

2. Project Selection

Please select one or more of the project types below. If you don't know what to pick, select "not sure" and we'll help you figure it out.

3. Project Details

Please provide a brief description of your project (250 words or less per project).

Tell us about the product(s) you would like to work on or evaluate. If it is web-based or a redesign of an existing product, please provide the URL. If it is an original product idea, please explain as much as you can.

For Digital Analytics, describe any data you can provide access to and the platforms you use (e.g., Google Analytics, Twitter Analytics, Facebook Insights, etc.).

For Content Strategy, please describe the content management platform(s) and communication channel(s) your organization currently uses (e.g., website, mobile app, Twitter, Instagram, print brochures, etc.).

Is there anything else you want us to know about this proposal? The more information you provide, the better we can assess whether and how we can be of assistance.
