Collaborating with Witness to Mass Incarceration, we developed reStore, an eCommerce platform spotlighting businesses led by formerly incarcerated individuals (FIP). Focused on breaking stigmas and fostering community, our project aimed to enhance user experience and drive sales through storytelling. By humanizing FIP narratives and prioritizing accessibility, we created a dynamic marketplace where customers can connect with and support these businesses. Our user-centered approach resulted in a compelling platform aligned with Witness’s mission of promoting successful reentry into society.
