Project Summary

The Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian Design Museum is one of the first museums to embrace opening up its collection digitally to the public and develop an Application Programming Interface (API). We conducted a usability study to examine the usability of the API interface and provided recommendations to make it more intuitive for developers with varying levels of programming experience.
