Smarthistory is a trusted resource for academic study and research. The site holds a wide range of resources, but they can be challenging to navigate. Our research aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of its information architecture to improve user experiences in accessing content. We conducted an eye-tracking study and used our findings to determine appropriate recommendations to best improve their website.
