Breakthrough New York is a local, non-profit organization and community that aims to improve educational opportunities for students of low-income backgrounds. Currently, Breakthrough New York serves over 500 students from the 7th grade through college. We evaluated the existing website’s desktop experience through usability testing to reflect their user needs and found that the website manifests positive feelings for their first time users and has a lot of information to offer catering to each of their target audience but need assistance for its efficient usage, content management and site navigation with respect to their target audience.
