Transportation Alternatives (TA) is a non-profit advocacy group for safe, equitable streets in New York City. They rely on grassroots activism and research to de-center the automobile from New York’s streets and create safer community spaces. For four months, I worked in a team of researchers and designers Eva Chen, Daniel Meagher, and Jiae Oh in collaboration with Jacob DeCastro, communications manager for Transportation Alternatives, on improving the TA website experience.
