Social Solar is a third-party service that matches city residents (starting in New York City) with clean energy suppliers. The challenge was to enhance the current mobile website to deliver the value of our client and inform users of the benefits of using sustainable energy through an effective exploratory phase. The goal was to create a customer landing experience that should motivate users to sign up for a plan with Social Solar. The user research methods included secondary research, making user personas, and mapping of the user journey.
