Project Summary

The Pratt Institute Library website supports graduate students, undergraduate students, and scholars in their research and learning endeavors. The purpose of this usability test was to evaluate the usability metrics and ease of use of the library website. A group of 4 usability experts was appointed to conduct usability testing on 2 target users each. In-person testing with an Eye-Tracking application and tool called Tobii Pro Lab was used. The goal during the study was to evaluate the effectiveness of the current map functionality in helping Pratt students to find items in the schools Brooklyn and Manhattan Libraries.
