For over 30 years, New York Cares has provided a “smarter way to volunteer” by enabling New Yorkers to serve for a cause they care about. The aim of this project was to redesign the website in such a way that it could engage the citizens of the busiest city in the world to volunteer for a cause they care about. The aim was to create a minimalist Information Architecture with increased clarity of the information. The second aim was to streamline the search process. The other aim was to create a consistent, responsive UI.
